Join us Week 8 at Chautauqua for Music and Fun!

2013 will be our 15th year of making music on the grounds of the Chautauqua Institution.

The Chautauqua Music Camps features three camps in one. Woodwind, brass and percussion students entering grades six through nine are eligible for our Middle School Band Camp. The Chautauqua Orchestra Camp is for high school and advanced middle school string students entering grades
7 – 12. Returning for a fourth year will be the Chautauqua Jazz Camp for saxophone, trombone, trumpet, and rhythm section students entering grades ten through twelve. Instructors for all three camps include members of the Chautauqua Symphony, as well as highly skilled teachers from around Western New York.

The Chautauqua Institution is home to a world-class Symphony Orchestra, Summer Opera Company, and Collegiate Summer Music Program. During the day, students will be able to enjoy many of the recreational activities available on the grounds. With their gate pass, students will be able to attend many of the evening events at the Institution for no extra charge during the week of the camp.
