Now In Its 15th Year!

The Middle School Band Camp is open to all woodwind, brass, and percussion students entering grades 6 through 9. Students participate in twice-a-day full-band rehearsals, small group sectionals with high-energy instructors, musicianship classes, and access to all that the Chautauqua Institution has to offer.

Now in his 9th year as conductor, Terry Bacon brings his high energy style to making each summer a great experience for young musicians. Students will perform in the final concert with the Music Camps Orchestra in Elizabeth S. Lenna Hall on August 17 at 12:00 P.M.

Additionally, selected Middle School Band Camp students will participate in the Middle School Jazz Combo. These students will perform with the HS Jazz Camp at 2:00 P.M. on August 16.
